Job Title: Software Developer / Test Engineer (Protocol/ 2G/ 3G)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 24 months
Location: San Diego, CA
Job Description:
· 2+ years experience preferred
· 3GPP specifications and implementation & Testing of of LTE/UMTS/HSPA protocols.
· Knowledge and experience of wireless telecommunications. (2G/3G/4G)
· Experience with ARM microprocessor fundamentals, ARM assembly language, Lauterbach Trace 32 ICD/ICE
· Embedded or wireless system software development and testing on telecommunications devices.
· Software integration and debugging on embedded real time operating systems.
· Experience with wireless device field testing and lab testing.
· Experience in C programming required.
· Strong communication skills, Strong interpersonal skills, Self starter, Strong initiative skills.
· Familiarity with emulators/JTAG-debuggers, test-mobiles, test-equipment, C, ARM-assembly, logging tools an advantage. Ability to work as part of a dedicated project team or independently essential.
· Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering required. Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering preferred
